ITS in Europe: moving towards an integrated Europe

New technology in transport covers a very wide field ? including, of course, striking improvements in the transport means themselves. But while this is interesting, it is in our ever-increasing ability to collect, analyse, disseminate and act on complex information on the performance of the transport system that the most important developments and policy challenges are taking place.
