Sales and the 'Talent Magnet'

A lot is written about being a ‘Talent Magnet’, either as a company, or as President. It’s all good practice – listen, mentor, reward, provide clear goals and career maps. Good practice for the employer, but what about the employee?

Renewable and sustainable energy and clean water will be especial significant for the next generations of energy development and supply.

Wind Energy is the most clean and cheapest energy to utilise, so wind energy must be utilised where wind energy is sufficient for wind energy production.

Danvest Energy is prepared with WD equipment to meet the challenge with highest Plant efficiency.

Vision: Danvest Systems reduces annually fuel consumption and CO2 emissions up to 50-85% with maximum utilisation of wind power – Hybrid High Wind Penetration Systems.

Mission: Wind diesel systems as 0-100% back up for wind turbines with 0-100% power supply and annual fuel reduction up to 50-85% depending of the local wind condition. With use of Biofuels the wind diesel system will be 100% CO2 neutral.

Danvest Wind / Diesel System (WD) with high wind penetration:
The unique property about the Danvest system is that the controlling system is based on utilisation of the normal standard diesel-generator sets – which has to operate at in-sufficient wind energy or no wind – fitted with Danvest WD equipment for backing up wind turbines from 0-100 % for automatic and continuous power supply.

At sufficient wind energy to supply all power consumption, the engine is clutch out and stopped, and a dumpload system takes over the frequency controlling – the fast dynamic load balance between the fluctuating wind energy and the variation in consumer load.

When wind is decreasing / consumer is increasing, the engine is started again and clutch in automatic.

See our website: www.danvest.com

The Danvest WD system is containerised and simple and based on well known components with world wide service and with an extra cost of 10-15 % for the Danvest WD equipment the total system is very competitive to normal diesel based systems.

Plant configuration for optimal design:
With our experience for WD installation and local data for a calculation program Danvest Energy can provide an optimal system design and set up the most optimal component combination of wind- and engine power capacities to obtain the lowest kWh price.

Low Load Operation:
With the Danvest function for low load diesel engine operation under 30% load – the clutch out / in, the engine stop / start and a very low auxiliary consumption – the system has a very high total Plant efficiency.

For the low load operation the engine is pre. heated, the charge air is pre-heated and pre-pressured and in this way the diesel engine is able to operate idle running in long periods down to very low fuel consumption.

To have a optimal operation condition it is important to be able to follow the Plant condition and especially the diesel condition must be optimal to ensure high frequency quality with sufficient controlling capacity.

In Figure II – low load operation for WD plant at Ruhnu Island is shown, and this conditions can be followed and adjusted via our Internet based remote monitoring system.

PC based remote monitoring and adjustment
Via the Internet  the systems is remote controlled parallel with the wind turbines. In this way the WD Plant – and engine condition – can be controlled and adjusted central from a service centre with skilled engineers.

In the guarantee period the Internet line is kept open for following the conditions and for guiding in adjusting, after wind conditions, service and maintaining.

Guarantees
Component guarantees – Transferred from the sub suppliers
System performance 1 – Continuous power supply
Guarantees
2 – Fuel saving – produced wind energy is transferred to corresponding fuel reduction in the diesel generator production.
3 – Low power to auxiliary equipment at efficiency rates of 95% +/-2%
4 – Power quality according to international norms. EU: EN 50 160
5 – Power compensation at high wind penetration and at high fluctuations

In the guarantee period the Internet monitoring, adjustment and control connection is kept open for consulting personnel for optimum monitoring the condition, with guidance and continued training in service situations.
